At Nambuy, we want you to be fully satisfied with every purchase. If something’s not right, you can return eligible items within 7 days from the time your order is marked as delivered.
🔁 How Returns Work
Request a Return
Go to your order history and select the item you want to return. Submit a return request.
Approval Process
Your return status will be marked as Pending. Our team will review it and notify you once it is either:
Approved or Rejected
Item Drop-Off (After Approval)
If approved, you must drop off the item within the return window at one of the following locations:
A branch of the vendor you purchased from
Any designated drop-off location:
- 44 Parsons Road, Southern Industrial, Windhoek.
Nambuy’s main branch in Windhoek
You must present your order number during drop-off.
Item Inspection & Refund
After receiving and inspecting the item:
If approved, your refund will be credited to your Nambuy Wallet
If rejected, you’ll be notified with the reason
Rejected Returns
If your return is rejected after drop-off, you’ll have 7 days to collect it from our main Windhoek branch.
If uncollected after 7 days, the item may be scrapped.
📌 Return Guidelines
Here’s what to keep in mind when requesting a return:
- ✅ Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery.
- ✅ Items must be unused and in their original condition (unless defective).
- ✅ Some products may not be eligible for return (e.g. hygiene-sensitive, digital goods).
- 🕒 Once approved, drop-offs must happen within the return window.
- 🧾 Always bring your order number when dropping off an item.
- 💬 If your return is rejected, you can contact our support team to resolve the claim.
❌ Common Reasons for Return Rejections
Return Request Submitted Late
The request was made after the 7-day return window from the date of delivery.
Item Used or Not in Original Condition
Product is visibly used, damaged, or missing components/accessories.
Packaging Missing or Damaged
Original packaging (e.g., box, seals, labels) is not included or is significantly damaged.
Item Not Eligible for Return
Product type is listed as non-returnable (e.g., for hygiene or safety reasons).
Incorrect or Missing Order Number
Customer failed to provide a valid order number at the time of drop-off.
Item Does Not Match Approved Return
The product returned is not the same item that was approved for return.
Signs of Wear or Tampering
Evidence of physical wear, tampering, unauthorized repairs, or alterations.
Item Returned Without Authorization
Item was dropped off before receiving return approval from Nambuy.
Return Past Final Collection Period
A previously rejected return was not collected within the 7-day grace period.
Product Received in Unsafe Condition
Product is leaking, broken, or poses a health/safety risk to staff or facilities.

| Personal Care & Hygiene Items (e.g., razors, toothbrushes, cosmetics) | Hygiene & safety concerns — often marked as final sale. |
| Opened Electronics (e.g., phones, earbuds) | If not defective, may be rejected due to broken seals or wear. |
| Intimate Apparel (e.g., underwear, swimwear) | Cannot be returned once worn or packaging is opened. |
| Perishable Items (e.g., if mistakenly ordered from Nambuy instead of Nambuy Food) | Not eligible under standard return due to spoilage risk. |
| Software & Digital Goods (e.g., license keys, activation cards) | Once activated, these are non-returnable. |
| Medical Devices or Supplements | Safety and tampering concerns — return rarely accepted. |
| Batteries & Hazardous Items | Strict transport and safety restrictions prevent returns. |
Return Review & Discretionary Rejection
Nambuy reserves the right to review and assess all return requests at its sole discretion. All returned items are subject to inspection upon receipt. If a customer is unable to provide a valid and substantiated reason for the return, or if the item does not meet the eligibility criteria as outlined in this policy, the return may be rejected without refund.
Nambuy further reserves the right to reject any return request if, in its reasonable judgment, the return appears to be fraudulent, abusive, or not in line with standard return expectations.

We may update this Return Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to the systems we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please therefore revisit this Return Policy regularly to stay informed about how our returns work.
