Refund Policy

At Nambuy, we are committed to offering fair and transparent refund procedures for returned products. Refunds are processed only once a return has been approved and the item has passed quality inspection. This policy outlines how and when refunds are issued, and under what circumstances they may be withheld.


1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are issued under the following conditions:

  1. The return request was approved by Nambuy.
  2. The item was received by Nambuy or a verified drop-off location within the designated return period.
  3. The item passed inspection and was confirmed to be in a returnable condition.


Refunds will not be issued if the return:

  1. Was submitted outside the 7-day return window.
  2. Was rejected during the return review or inspection phase.
  3. Lacked a valid reason or order number.
  4. Involved non-returnable product categories (e.g., personal care, opened electronics, etc.).


2. Refund Method

All approved refunds are issued to the customer’s Nambuy Wallet. This allows customers to reuse funds for future purchases on the platform.

  1. Wallet Credit – Default refund method.
  2. Cash or Bank Refunds – Not offered by default. May be considered in exceptional cases at Nambuy’s discretion (e.g., payment error, product discontinued).


3. Refund Processing Timeline

Once a return has been approved and the item has passed inspection, refunds are processed within 1 to 5 business days.


Customers will receive a notification once the refund has been successfully credited to their Nambuy Wallet. Delays may occur during public holidays or due to incomplete return information.


4. Rejected Returns

If a return is rejected after the item has been dropped off, no refund will be issued. The customer will be notified and given 7 days to collect the item from Nambuy’s main branch in Windhoek. Uncollected items beyond this period will be disposed of without further obligation from Nambuy.


5. Partial Refunds or Deductions

Nambuy reserves the right to apply partial refunds or deductions in cases where:

  1. The returned item is missing parts or original packaging.
  2. Visible signs of use or handling are present.
  3. The item requires restoration or repackaging.


6. Refund Disputes

If you believe your refund was handled incorrectly, please contact Nambuy Support within 7 days of receiving the refund decision. Requests submitted after this period may not be considered.
