Cancellation Policy

At Nambuy, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation process is designed to be simple and fair, while also ensuring the reliability of our service to vendors and customers across Namibia.


1. How to Cancel an Order


Customers may cancel an order directly through their account, provided the order has not yet been processed:


  1. Navigate to “Orders” on your Nambuy account.
  2. Select the order you wish to cancel.
  3. If the order is still in Pending status, click “Cancel Order” to cancel it immediately.


2. Cancelling Paid Orders


If your order has already been paid for and you are unable to cancel it manually, you must contact Nambuy Support for assistance.


  1. If the order has not yet been shipped, our team may approve the cancellation.
  2. If the order has already been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.


Approved cancellations of paid orders will be refunded in full to your Nambuy Wallet.


3. Unpaid Orders

Orders that are not paid for will not be processed or shipped, and may be automatically cancelled after a specified period if no payment is received.


4. Refunds for Cancelled Orders

  1. Paid & Cancelled Orders: Refunded to the customer’s Nambuy Wallet within 1 to 5 business days of cancellation.
  2. Unpaid Orders: No refund is applicable; the order will simply be voided.


5. Abuse of Cancellation Feature

To protect the integrity of the platform and fairness to our vendors:

  1. Frequent, excessive, or suspicious cancellation activity will be monitored.
  2. Nambuy reserves the right to suspend or terminate any customer account found to be abusing the cancellation system.


We encourage responsible use of this feature to ensure all parties benefit from a smooth and efficient ordering process.
